PAPA Annual Membership Meeting

Mark your calendar for the Annual Membership Meeting to be held this year in Atlanta, Georgia! We've selected a new location at the Starling in Midtown Atlanta to celebrate 20 years of PAPA and the exciting things that are to come. All times listed are Eastern Time. 

We'll kick off on Tuesday, September 24, 2024 with the following sessions: 

  • State Association Meeting: 9 am - 11:30 am 
  • Sustaining Member Updates: 12:30 pm - 2:30 pm (covered on Wednesday in previous years)
  • PAPA 101: 3:00 pm - 4:30 pm 
  • Social Time: 5:30-6:30 pm

The official PAPA Annual Membership Meeting will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2024 from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm ET. The purpose of the meeting is to elect Directors and conduct other business that may come before the Membership.  The meeting is open to anyone who wishes to attend. We hope to cover many current issues relating to public awareness and pipeline safety. 

The Annual Membership Meeting Agenda will include:

  • Election of Directors
  • Strategic Update/Board of Director's Report
  • Core Programs & Enhancements
  • Special Session on Public Awareness Hot Topics - TBD (held on Tuesday in previous years)
  • Round-table Discussion

  • Storage and Other Facilities
  • Gas Gathering Facilities
  • Gas Distribution Facilities

In-person meetings will take place at the Starling Hotel, 188 14th Street NE, Atlanta, GA 30361. Uber and taxi are recommended for transportation from the airport to Midtown Atlanta. The hotel is also accessible via the Atlanta train system (MARTA) on the Red and Gold line. Take the train to the Arts Center Station stop, which is about a .5 mile walk from the hotel. Fares are $2.50, plus the purchase of a Breeze card. More info is available on their website.
